Research and Development is considered as a key factor for success in KOROZO.

The R&D culture has prevailed since the foundation of the company (bringing in many innovations in Turkey) and progresses strongly.

The R&D team is made up of 10 persons (4 engineers + 3 chemists + 3 technicians).

The main activities are:

• Developing new products based on marketing research feedback and direct customer requirements.

• Keeping close contact with customers and improving our current products according to their needs.

• Developing raw material recipes for all the plastic products we produce.

• Executing projects to increase efficiency in production and operating system.

• Keeping abreast of developments day to day and integrate the latest trends into our current production systems. (e.g. new polymers, films, technologies)

• Working together on long term R&D projects with universities and the Turkish Science and Technology Foundation.

The R&D department is supported with a sophisticated laboratory with capacities to perform:

• All mechanical and optical test related to plastics.

• Chemical tests (gascromotograpy etc...).

• Oxygen and Water Vapour transmission.

• Application simulations (pasteurization, retort, vacuum filling etc...).
