Story of “Korozo” Brand
The word ‘Korozo’ comes from the seeds of a palm tree grown in the rainforests of South America widely used as the raw material for making buttons. As one of the first industrial companies in the newly-established Turkey, Korozo Düğme Fabrikası Ltd. began mass producing buttons in 1934. In 1973, Korozo was acquired by the Duvenyaz family and began manufacturing flexible packaging at its factory in the Sefaköy district of Istanbul.

Launch of KOROPLAST Brand

Turkey’s first garbage and freezer bags were launched the Koroplast brand

Export Sales

Korozo began to supply overseas markets with packaging products

The company invested in flexible packaging production

ISO 9001 Certificate

Korozo obtained an ISO 9001 Certificate – the first company in the Turkish packaging industry to achieve this quality industry accreditation.
