How long have you worked at Korozo and what is your current role?
I have worked at Korozo for about five years now. For the last two and a half years I have been working as production chief in conversion plants.
How did you decide to work at Korozo?
Prior to joining Korozo, I worked in automotive industry for a year. I decided to continue my career in Istanbul and started my job search. Taking on a responsibility in manufacturing in a multinational company was my priority. I believe that luck plays a role in one’s career success. I met Korozo through a friend. Following a series of assessments by the Human Resources, I set out on a career path at Korozo.
How would you describe your career path at Korozo?
I started working at Korozo in 2017, as a production engineer. Korozo, a leading player in the packaging industry, allowed me, like all of its people, to gain extensive knowledge in the industry within a short period of time. I believe that I have made significant progress on my career path, thanks to Korozo.
During that time, I helped realizing production targets, as well as improving production processes. I experienced line acceptance and commissioning at machine suppliers and different lines. After my first two and a half years I took over the job as production chief. I attended technical customer visits in Turkey and abroad. These visits surely changed my perspective and expanded my vision.
At Korozo, I got Lean Six Sigma black belt trainings and led two Lean Six Sigma projects. It is a great pleasure to be able to add value to the company.
How would you describe your work environment?
Dynamism, speed and quality are parts of Korozo’s corporate culture and of production due to its nature. Being able to find solutions, even remotely, to ensure the continuity of production, overcoming challenges as a team increase job satisfaction.
How has your experience at Korozo contributed to your growth and development?
The dynamism in production requires speed but also correct actions. This also creates advantages in social life. Working with large teams, analysing the skills and capabilities of the team, leading a team all emphasize leadership skills. Learning is a never ending process in production. One must always question and be open to new ideas.
What do you enjoy most about working at Korozo?
